Official Orange County Contacts

For an Orange County jail release, begin with the Sheriff’s Records Division. Written requests may be delivered in person, by mail, fax, or email. A no-charge Letter of Incarceration can document the book-in date, book-out date, and offense.

Choose the Right Record Office

The correct contact depends on whether the matter involves a county booking, a court case, state imprisonment, or another custodian.

  • For supervision, consult Post-Release Supervision.
  • For a recent county-jail interval, see 24-Hour Releases; Orange County does not publish a distinct recent-release feed.

  • For a felony case, contact the Orange County District Clerk at 801 Division Ave., Orange, TX 77630, (409) 882-7817 for criminal records.
